    Hilltop Holdings is currently seeking a Senior Security Engineer - Identity and Access Management (IAM) that will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and escalation support of a wide range of IAM-related systems. The Senior Security Engineer - IAM is responsible for leading and creating technical delivery of IAM system components. He or she exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networking with key contacts outside own area of expertise is required.  This role regularly interacts with multiple teams at all levels on matters concerning functional areas, troubleshooting and requirement gathering. Regularly interacts with other IT organizations (Internal and External), clients, and application/development teams.  The ideal candidate will be self-directed and able to work well individually, in small groups, and able to self-manage with minimal supervision.

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for the architecture, design, maintenance, and support of the Identity and Access Management system, SailPoint IdentityIQ. This system manages identities for all Hilltop Holdings entities
    • Assist IAM Manager in the development of the IAM solutions roadmap
    • Manage existing IAM infrastructure and provide level 3 support. Work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
    • Creation of delivery documentation such as technical requirement design documents and technical component presentations
    • Works closely with IAM Manager to identify key technical components as required for project requirements and to assist in prioritization of development efforts
    • Work extensively with Directory Services teams to implement an authentication/authorization solution for application/systems logins
    • Provide mentoring and guidance to the IAM Administrator as needed to ensure systems are functioning as expected
    • Responsible for planning IAM system design changes, upgrades, enhancements and new features
    • Actively participate in technical/functional project meetings
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Experience with IAM platforms, with heavy emphasis on provisioning, deprovisioning, and workflows
    • Identity Management experience in one or more of the following areas: Single Sign On, Identity Federation, Enterprise Directory Architecture and Design, Resource Provisioning, Role Base Access Control
    • Must have previous experience working with Sailpoint Identity IQ versions 6.x or 7.x
    • Proven experience analyzing, authoring and reviewing identity management designs
    • Experience with enterprise password management solutions
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems administration/architecture
    • Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and administration
    • Expertise in developing, integrating, and deploying Identity & Access Management provisioning solutions in a large environments
    • Experience leading business requirements gathering and translating those into system requirements and solution
    • Extensive experience with the following technologies: Active Directory, LDAP, XML, and Java/Javascript/Beanshell
    • Strong understanding of information security fundamentals in the identity and access management space


    Professional Qualifications

    • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience
    • Strong written, verbal, and presentations skills
    • Strong organizational and process analysis skills
    • Ability to analyze, interpret and aggregate complex data
    • Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships
    • Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, decision-making
    • Knowledge of mortgage industry is preferred
    • Knowledge of various analysis and development methodologies
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at workstation using desktop device and phone
    • Some light travel may be required
    • Strong Visio and PowerPoint skills
