  • Job Summary

    Responsible for imaging, scanning, indexing, tracking and verifying deposit documentation; tracking customer information; communicating with customers; notifying customers of missing information and/or documentation; providing support to frontline staff; processing returned mail; assisting Deposit Support Team Lead and Deposit Support Manager with preparing and updating the Best Practices and Procedures Manuals for Deposit Support. 

    Essential Functions

    1. Provide timely, courteous, consistent, professional customer service to branch personnel and PCB customers.
    2. Meet or exceed deadlines established for completion of tasks.
    3. Maintain an error ratio equal to or less than the ratio agreed upon by the Deposit Support Manager and the Deposit Support Team Lead.
    4. Maintain a working knowledge of PCB software, products and services required to effectively assist branch personnel and PCB customers.
    5. Sort and organize batches (scanned documents) in Synergy Capture. 
    6. Verify batches received
    7. Compare iHerd form for scanned batches to batches in Synergy Capture.
    8. Disseminate batches within Deposit Documentation division.
    9. Distribution of batches will be predetermined by the Deposit Support Manager and the Deposit Support Team Lead. 
    10. Sort, scan and index original documents received via interoffice mail.
    11. Correct any inaccurate indexing in Synergy.
    12. File and maintain original documents after they are scanned, indexed, tracked and verified for 90 days; shred the documents after 90 days.
    13. Track and create exceptions for missing or incomplete deposit documentation.
    14. Verify that the auto imported exceptions are correct.
    15. Make corrections as necessary.
    16. Notify customers of missing information and/or documentation.
    17. Assist customers and branch personnel with clearing exceptions.
    18. Process returned mail.
    19. Process related work as assigned.
    20. Assist manager with projects as needed.
    21. Cross train within the department as requested by manager.
    22. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
      As the responsibility of the Deposit Support Department grows the principal duties and responsibilities of the position
    23. could/will change to accommodate the growth of the department.

    Job Requirements

    • High School diploma required
    • Minimum 1 year of office or banking experience preferred
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent PC skills, preferred experience with Excel and Word
    • Superb analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy required
    • Superior time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
